Matthew Arnold "The Buried Life" : But often, in the world's most crowded streets, but often, in the din of strife, there rises an unspeakable desire after the knowledge of our buried life; A thirst to spend our fire and restless force in tracking out our true, original course; A longing to inquire into the mystery of this heart which beats so wild, so deep in us--to know whence our lives come and where they go.

Hello then.
So it's Christmas - New Years - the time to begin new resolutions and make promises no one really intends to keep. This year has brought a lot of new adventures - both good and bad and I have missed the opportunity to spill... so that is resolution #1 - write regularly. resolution # 2 is to continue living life with the view that each day holds the potential for a new adventure. It's hitting the point where there is too much uncertainty this year. Nothing is really guaranteed except for the fact that at some point something is going to change and I will be flung from this ridiculous sense of complacency that I have been sitting in for the past 3.5 years. So - on this note - I would like to wish you a Merry Christmas - and wish to toast you and the new adventures that the passing of time will surely come to bring.
